An alternative pop duo from Hull, cutty are back on our blog with their second single, One Shot.

Opening with a woozy and hypnotic rhythm, One Shot soon launches into an infectious hook that encapsulates a boozy and melancholic night out. Poetic lyrics grip in the verse, beautifully delivered by the vocals. The whole track showcases cutty’s experimental and original approach nicely.

The duo of Amy Precious and Kev La Kat first featured on our pages through their debut release, Ain’t Talking, in February 2025. They’re one of my favourite local discoveries of late, and I look forward to see where their unique and approachable sound takes them.
