Hailing from Berlin, Germany, JILIAAN blends classical and pop influences to create some wonderfully striking stuff. Her latest, Lonely, is a stripped-back and searching number in which her soulful vocals shine. Mournful piano pairs with lingering strings in the build up to a cathartic chorus. Lyrics speak of loss and longing.
Influenced by the likes of Adele and Sam Smith, JILIAAN is definitely one for lovers of those artists.
