A Berlin, Germany-based singer songwriter, Deray has previously appeared on this blog thanks to her timeless track Arms.

Her latest single Crooked Corners of Your Heart similarly delves into the old school and explores the concept of holding onto someone a little longer before letting them go.

Musically we get a heart-breaking country ballad. As before, Deray’s compelling vocals are the star of the show as they deliver their mournful tale. Its memorable chorus will stick with you. Its lyrics are crushingly delivered by Deray.
