The music of London-based singer songwriter Ella Jinks has been appearing on our pages since November 2024, first through her team up with Katie Melua, This Fall, then through her timeless single, The In-Between.

Her latest track is called Just Another Day and is a song that’s equal parts delicate and cinematic. As ever, Ella’s storytelling lyrics are the centrepiece. They tell a melancholic tale of trying to understand a world that’s constantly changing, and struggling to fit in. The emotion of it all is beautifully delivered by her compelling vocals. It’s an indie-folk gem.

The more I hear from Ella, the more I fall in love with her sound. It’s simple yet powerful, and the vulnerability of it all makes it wonderfully captivating.
