In many ways, the title of Groovy Sexy Baby tells you all you need to know about the track. Yet, in other ways, it’s only half the story. Sultry and seductive, it defies convention, bringing together the accessibility of pop with some cutting edge experimentation. All the while, the groove never quits, bringing to mind Justin Timberlake in his heyday.
This isn’t the first time that CAVALE has appeared on this blog, but we’ve not featured anything from her since 2023. It feels like a good time to be getting reacquainted with her music. She has a beautiful uniqueness that demands attention.
