Florida, USA-based rockers Fringe Frontier are back with soulful, classic rock track, Pulling Away.
By Graeme Smith
Pulling Away is a groovy, move-inducing indie rock number with more than a hint of the classic rock of Status Quo in its instrumental. As ever, the vocals are enchanting, understated and captivating during a soulful verse before becoming chanting in the chorus. There’s a pleading quality to the lyrics that tug at the heartstrings.
Almost inevitably, the track arrives at a guitar solo which elevates everything thanks to its echoing notes. The groove never quits, right up to a finish that will stick with you.
It’s safe to say at this point that Fringe Frontier are regulars on this blog. We’ve now shared seven of their singles. Their LP, Songs From The Wirehouse, is on its way. Pulling Away is out now, available to buy as a digital track on Bandcamp. You can give it a listen below.
