At only nineteen years old, Los Angeles, USA-based Neska Rose is set to take on the world.

Plagued with self-doubt, her new single Bubbling! is a cathartic effort telling the story of liking someone and not feeling comfortable enough to be oneself. There’s a brightness to its neo-soul style and the vocals are rich with character and charisma. With nods to the vibrant sound of Lily Allen, it’s the perfect summer anthem.

The video, co-directed by Neska and her parents, pays tribute to the offbeat videos on MTV circa 1990.

Neska Rose first featured on our blog in June 2025 through her poetic track Very Green. Coupled with a magnetic performance in its accompanying video, I felt she had something special. This follow up confirms it.
