HitherFurther is new to our blog thanks to his arresting debut single, Seagulls (Overwhelm the Sky).

Sometimes an artist’s music does all the talking for them, and that the case with Seagulls, the promising debut single from Hither Further. The Irish musician has opened his recording career with some slow-building, melancholic indie that demands attention.

A gritty first verse pairs simmering acoustic rock with passionate vocals. They deliver image-laden lyrics that stick with you and draw you in as the track reaches its soaring chorus.

HitherFurther counts Noel Gallagher and Richard Ashcroft among his inspirations and fans of those artists will find a lot to love about what he’s doing.
