British singer-songwriter and musician Iona Luke has released a gorgeous new folk single called Bones, coming from her debut EP From Dust, which is actually being released today!

Bones is extremely impressive for such a newcomer to the music scene. The music sounds fairly simplistic at first, featuring some lovely strummed acoustic guitar chords, as well as Iona Luke’s emotive vocals, which also display a fantastic range and tone. However, more instrumentation is added in the background as the piece progresses, with the occasional electric guitar lick and a crescendo of stringed instruments taking pride of place in the track later on.
