Regular readers of these pages should be well aware of Luna Keller’s music by now, as she’s become one of our favourite artists. Now she’s returned with a special new track titled Children of the Sun, which is also the second single from her upcoming album, Death and all her Enemies.

Children of the Sun is a gorgeous piece of folk music, characterised by Luna’s usual subtle folky charm. However, that isn’t a criticism at all, as this singer-songwriter has clearly marked her own way in the music industry, and it’s all to her credit. As Luna sings here, “There’s nothing that I need to prove”, and as Children of the Sun proves, Luna really is ready to hit the bigtime. The guitars are simple yet effective, with a lovely string section backing up the music, as Luna sings perfectly, “I’ve got everything I need.” Clearly, lyrically, Children of the Sun is perfect too. Shine on Luna, shine on.
