Cologne, Germany-based Spanish singer songwriter Luna Keller is a favourite of mine, and I always get excited when I see she has new music out. Her latest is a tribute to the over-thinker in us all. It’s called The Philosopher.

Luna tackles the topic through a fictional philosopher, and her storytelling lyrics really bring the track’s feelings to life. As do the delicate yet subtly complex acoustic arrangement, led by guitar and with an undertow of whispered spoken word vocals. The Philosopher is yet another outstanding offering from one of the hardest working artists I know.
Written during a visit to her parents in Tenerife, The Philosopher is certainly the ray of winter sun I needed on this cloudy Monday. You can give the track a listen below.
