The interestingly titled Boys In Shorts are a brand new discovery of mine, with the band hailing all the way from the USA. Their new single, Love In A Time Of Endings, injects a real punk energy into proceedings, making for one tune that will surely have you bopping your head along in style!

I love a song that combines a fast punky rhythm with fantastic lyrics, and Boys In Shorts have really managed that here on Love In A Time Of Endings. It’s about the anxiety of a fast-approaching apocalypse (something that seems far too close for comfort at the moment), and you can really feel the emotion and urgency in the emotive vocals and fast guitar licks. There’s also an awesome solo towards the end and a great break-down towards the end, making for everything I love in a punk rock song.

If you like your catchy punk, then Love In A Time Of Endings is a must listen.
