Sacramento, USA-based indie pop artist Howe, real name Chyanne Ledbetter, first came to my attention in the Summer of 2021 thanks to her subversive track Made For This Time. Since then, I’ve been eagerly lapping up her new music, and this year shared further tracks Green Enough and Wash Rinse Repeat. The latter opens her new EP, the literally titled Courtesy of Insomnia.

Lilac are a Reading-based indie pop three piece consisting of Beth on vocals and electric guitar, Lewis on electric guitar, keyboard and backing vocals and Olly on drums. Formed during lockdown in 2020, they’ve been growing their sound and playing local venues over the past couple of years. Now they’ve hit our radar through their beautiful banger Losing Myself (In You).
