York’s very own hard trash surf garage dance music rock’ n roll band, Atomic Raygun, are ready to head back down to The Basement on Friday with a hoard of top tunes scavenged from the trash heap of rock’n roll.
“We loved playing The Basement last year. It’s a great little venue, you’re so close to the audience, great atmosphere.” said Chris Wood, lead vocalist. “We’ll be playing a mixture of new stuff, tracks from our new EP, and a few classics on their final outing before we put them back in the vault. We’re really looking forward to it”.
Kicking off the proceedings will be York singer/song writer and guitarist for Soma Crew, Steve Kendra, in the form of Kendroid. Steve will be playing new material in this inaugural loop/delay driven set.
After catching their set during 30 Years of MOR Fest at The Fulford Arms, which proved to be one of the highlights of the day, we’re excited to seeAtomic Raygun back in action.
Tickets £4 in advance from City Screen Box Office.
