This Friday, a gig is being held at the Eiger Studios in Leeds to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, featuring bands such as Got Got Need, Digging for Kryptonite, the Tom Gee Band, and Mali and me. So if you’re looking for something different to do on a Friday night, and fancy helping a worthwhile cause, this is for you!

Absolute Bowie

Fibbers

Friday 4 March, 7.30 pm

For all those disheartened Bowie lovers out, this one’s for you, because Absolute Bowie is the ultimate tribute band. They’ve been touring all over the UK and Europe for years and Woody Woodmansey (Spiders from Mars) claims that they’re ‘as close to the real thing as you’ll get’ – with that ultimate praise, what more could you want?

Alpha Festivals Presents…

Fibbers

Saturday 5 March, 7.30pm

This is the first outing for The Alpha Festival Presents brand and with a line-up like this, we doubt it’ll be the last. Heading up the bill is the return of York’s rock and blues stalwart, Stonewater, who’ll follow recent Soundwaves competition winners As Sirens Fall and local acoustic rock-coverer Kitty VR.
