Down To The Woods, the most exciting newcomer on the UK’s festival calendar, have announced US indie rockers We Are Scientists as the latest additions to the inaugural boutique festival in Co. Durham.
The artists join legendary Saturday headliners Primal Scream and bass juggernauts Chase & Status on Sunday at the 10,000 capacity festival, held in the beautiful grounds of Hardwick Hall, Sedgefield from August 13th – 14th.

Blossom is the second E.P. from Essex pop-punk band Safe Side (with their debut release being the Everything You Never Wanted E.P.), and for a second effort, it’s certainly impressive.

Helter Seltzer is the fifth album for quirky indie rock group We Are Scientists, and it’s turned out to be a bit of a corker, if a little different to the usual stuff the band releases.
Bradford based band Glass Mountain are set to release their début record soon, with E.P. Glacial to be released on June 10th of this year. Whilst only five tracks long, the young band’s first release is rather impressive for a first-timer, with a couple of the songs reaching anthemic climaxes and displaying impressive melodies for a new band.
York singer-songwriter Izzy Isgate played at the historic Bedern Hall in Bartle Garth last week, launching her new live E.P., Making Ground As We Go. Izzy is generally very good at what she does, but in this venue, her music truly came alive. Support came from Paul Sparks.
