On Friday 22 April, Vinnie Whitehead (frontman of Vinnie & The Stars) is heading to The Duchess for a special gig, where he’ll be using the stage to record a live acoustic album.
Comedian Alun Cochrane joined us at The Hyena Lounge comedy club (held at The Duchess) last week for a performance entitled A Show With A Man In It, thought up by his very young son, as well as being a pun on the concept of the one man show.
On Monday, it was all about the rock/metal genre at The Duchess. Glamour of Kill headlined with support from Beyond All Reason and The Bastard Sons. Check out some of our photos of the night below.

At the weekend, Turin Brakes returned to The Duchess for a fan orientated headline show. They also brought singer/songwriter Tom Speight along for the ride, meaning the almost sold out audience were in for a treat!
Last Sunday, Sunderland band Field Music headed down to The Duchess with support from local Wolf Solent. After already interviewing the guys from Field Music, we knew we had to catch them in action. Check out some of the photos we got below.
