The three events you shouldn’t miss this week.
Buswell & Nyberg’s 10 Day Orchestra Challenge
Fibbers
Saturday 4 June, 7.30 pm
Buswell and Nyberg have pushed themselves in the past with stunts such as forming an orchestra from strangers on the London Underground and performing at Edinburgh Fringe. Their next challenge will see them travel to 10 different cities in 10 days, creating pop-up orchestras along the way. Luckily, York is one of those cities and it’s bound to be an incredible evening with support from Boss Caine.
Tav Falco’s Panther Burns
The Brudenell, Leeds
Tuesday 7 June, 7.30pm
Tav Falco and his band the Panther Burns are coming to Leeds next Tuesday, to play an exciting show at The Brudenell Social Club. Known for their eclectic style and psychedelic rhythms, the Panther Burns are all set to perform a phenomenal show, with a great live reputation preceding them.
Titus Andronicus + …And The Hangnails
The Crescent
Monday 6 June, 7.30pm
Can’t make Primavera this year? Never fear because you can catch Titus Andronicus right here in York. One of only a few UK dates, The Crescent host the New Jersey punks for their first visit to our humble city in seven years. Joining them will be local duo …And The Hangnails for a night that promises to be equal parts mind and ear blowing.
