Local boys Cape Wrath take centre stage for the first time, headlining The Basement. Self-described as Indie ****post, the young lads will be joined on the night be cocky, fresh-faced grunge rockers Mallrats and edgy singer/songwriter Caitlin Steele. Head down to catch some York up-and-comers before they’re big.

Amelia White
The Basement, York
Sunday 17th July, 7.30pm
American singer songwriter Amelia White is arriving in York this weekend to play a gig at The Basement, bringing with her a selection of her country themed songs – all the way from Nashville itself. She is also playing in Leeds the following week for those unable to make the York date.

Hyena Lounge
Great Yorkshire Fringe, Parliament Street, York

Moving from their regular venue to participate in the Great Yorkshire Fringe, The Hyena Lounge brings a great line-up of comedians ensured to have you in stitches. One of the comedic artists confirmed is Andy Askins, as seen on the John Bishop show, with a creatively crafted performance of original comic songs and parodies.
