Procter Goblins

Procter Goblins are returning in May with a dark, macabre, and offensive variety night,  at the Spread Eagle, York on 18th May.

This May, Procter Goblins return to York with a variety night like no other. The event will take place in The Spread Eagle on Walmgate. Seven acts will be competing for the chance to win a cash prize of £30. The winner will be picked by the audience. Drag queens, stand-up, sketch comedy, music and spoken word will all feature.

Local writer Arthur Fisher is the event’s host. He promises a night you won’t soon forget:
“I realised that there are a lot of sick and twisted people in the world. You know, the sort of people that shouldn’t ever be put together. So, I contacted Procter Goblins and we decided to shove them into a cabaret line up!”

Note: The acts aren’t worried about offending people, or being politically correct. They are there to do their thing, no matter what happens; this is not the sort of evening you will want to bring your Nan to!
