2000 Trees Festival

The Cheltenham-based, independent, green-fields rock festival 2000trees Festival, taking place on the 6-8th July, has announced their 3rd set of acts for this summer’s event, INCLUDING the events final, main headliners.

The final band line-up announcement for the incredible 2000trees Festival is here, this time for the amazing, acoustic Forest Stage.

The festival takes place on July the 6th, 7th and 8th, and the headliners for the main stage are:

Thursday headliners – MALLORY KNOX

Friday co-headliners – FRANK CARTER & THE RATTLESNAKES/

Saturday co-headliners – LOWER THAN ATLANTIS / SLAVES

With all of the four co-headliner bands for this years event, as well as Thursdays headliner, being from these fair shores, 2000trees has again invested in exciting and emerging UK and British talent. All these bands will also be taking their first steps as a festival headliners at 2000trees Festival, a feat that continues on from last year with Twin Atlantic.

From LOWER THAN ATLANTIS front man, Mike Duce – “We are really excited to return to 2000trees this summer. It will be our first UK festival since our new record came out so it’ll be great to play a lot more of those songs whilst everyone’s getting drunk in a field. Lots of our mates are playing too so it’ll be a good time in a beautiful part of the country.”

From Tom May of THE MENZINGERS – “What an incredible line up! I can’t wait to get drunk in a forest with so many friends old and new.”

From Sam Veness of ROAM “Really excited to be playing 2000 Trees this year and be a part of this sick line up. We had so much fun last time and the festival is continually growing so it’s really exciting to return.”

From Mikey Chapman (vocals) MALLORY KNOX “We’re really looking forward to getting back to 2000 trees again this year, we had an awesome time last year can’t wait to do it all again with a new set”.

Festival organiser James Scarlett says: “Right now the UK rock scene is in ridiculously strong health and we’re very happy to be giving these bands a chance to co-headline a UK festival bill. Slaves will close the festival main stage on the Saturday night, with co-headliners Lower Than Atlantis on just before them. On the Friday we’ve got headliners Nothing But Thieves following Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes and let’s not forget Mallory Knox on our Thursday early entry night. It truly feels like 2000trees version 11 is going to be the best one yet. Roll on July!”
