The Everly Pregnant Brothers

We sat down with The Everly Pregnant Brothers to chat the Cotton Clouds Festival, future festivals, and more!

Interview by Jane Howkins

You’re playing at the newly formed Cotton Clouds Festival, in Saddleworth. Are you excited about that? How does it feel to have been asked to perform at a brand new festival?

Cotton Clouds looks like it’s going to very special – always nice to play a newly grown and upcoming festival. It will be grand to be hanging out with the Tim Peaks crowd again too.

Who else are you looking forward to seeing on the bill?

Sugarhill Gang are a must see, for that old school vibe obviously. Also looking forward to watching Pins – they’ve got some great songs.

Do you have any other festivals planned for the year? If so, what are they, and which are you looking forward to performing at the most?

This year we are playing both Y Not and Kendal Calling over the same weekend. KC 2017 will be our 4th time – we can’t wait – it’s always a hoot, rain or shine!

Why do you think people should come and see you play at Cotton Clouds Festival, and what can people expect from a typical festival show?

We are a good laugh and normally deliver a rabble rousing set, topped off with The Brothers infamous classic ‘No Oven No Pie’. Hoping for plenty of crowd participation.
