Multi-talented London grime artist Toya will be, among other things, voicing the first black Powerpuff Girl. We’ve certainly taken a shine to this BET nominated artist.

New track London Town is melodic and edgy. Toya has an easy style, similar to fellow UK rapper M.I.A. A understated beat and finger clicks provide a simple backdrop on which Toya can spit about her life in her home city.

Originally from South Africa, Toya has already made a name for herself in her home country and is now doing so in her new home. She’s definitely one to look out for on the grime scene. Check out London Town below.
