American singer-songwriter Annachristie Sapphire is a master of bringing the new to the old.

New track Cut The Line is a nostalgic throwback to ’50s troubadour and ’90s rock rebel, yet it still feels fresh and ‘now’. As the title suggest, the fishing metaphors for love are plentiful in the lyrics, but not in a cliché way. Annachristie’s voice is strong. The guitar, the harmonies, the drums all add up to a song that’s easy to love.
Having shared stages with First Aid Kit, Amos Lee and Langhorne Slim, Annachristie Sapphire is no stranger to the limelight. With a sound like this it won’t be long before she’s stealing the show.
