It’s fair to say we’re fans of American indie-country star Courtney Marie Andrew here at York Calling, having previously had a listen to May Your Kindness Remain and run the rule over full-length Honest Life.

New track Kindness of Strangers is no exception. It’s an upbeat feel-good track. The guitar is lively and Courtney’s distinct vocals captures you. Courtney reminds me a little of Jenny Lewis, with similar sass and soul but there is a more daydream quality to her music. Kindness of Strangers is an escape, a reflection that will leave you feeling affirmed.
