LA-based Kelsy Karter moved to the States from Australia when she was eighteen.

Her Australian heritage comes through nicely in new track Too Many Hearts to Break, with spoken word lines breaking up the smooth rhythm of what could have been a predictable pop song. Instead, Kelsey has a refreshing style. She recognises her own talent and beauty the perfect antithesis to the archetypal doomed songwriter.
