Ecuadorian artist Maria Usbeck brings throwback indie electro that combines delicate vocals and danceable beats.

New track Bosque De Bambú is chock full of layers of percussion and synth. Yet it is an easy going piece with callbacks to early ’80s electro and even a hint of ’70s disco and ’60s pop. Maria’s voice would definitely not be out of place in the hey day of Brigit Bardot for example.
Though originally from Ecuador, Maria now resides in Brooklyn so it’s hardly surprising to hear such diverse influences in her music. Listen for yourself by checking out Bosque De Bambú below.
