Canadian indie rock act Freedom Baby return to York Calling with low key new single Drag The Lake.

Led by duo Eric and Briana, Freedom Baby is a nine-piece mini-orchestra. It explains the richness of their sound which we previously likened to fellow countrymen Arcade Fire when reviewing their previous track When We Go.

New track Drag The Lake starts subtle and delicate before exploding into a chorus of emotion. It’s a tale about loneliness and is the closer to their new EP which explores themes of anxiety.
