With a track that could be off the Stranger Things soundtrack, Russian instrumental act Slow Babylon has crept into our consciousness.

The beautifully swelling The Bell, Slow Babylon create something suitable for both the silver screen and the dancefloor. Melodic guitar tell a story over ever-present chiming piano. There’s also a hint of Animal Collective here, had they decided to go disco. All in all, The Bell is a complex and nuanced track that really feels retro, yet fresh.
