Hiding Behind Sound are an original and inventive indie band from New York.

New track One Last One start downbeat and understated before building into something magnificent. Morose vocals sing image-filled lyrics (“into the wound goes the salt”). Underneath there is combination of indie guitar and afrobeat drums, something I haven’t heard done this well since The Doves’ masterpiece There Goes The Fear. There really is something special going on here.

Definitely one to listen to yourself (again and again). Check out One Last One below.
