Surinamese indie pop act Carter produces a sound that has already got Netflix interested.

It’s easy to see why. New track GG is as mellow as it is edgy. Sparse, plinking guitar play over equally sparse drums and keys. Though not much on their own, their arrangement creates a rich and complex sound. All the while Carter’s smooth vocals are full of emotion and longing. GG will sweep you away.

The track features in Netflix’s On My Block and, with the atmosphere it creates, it’s not surprising. If you don’t want to wait to episode seven to hear it, check out GG below and on Spotify.
