Denver’s Porlolo want to award you with their melodic indie pop.

New single Awards is the title track off their new EP. With a mellow, melodic verse and chorus exploding with emotion, it’s one to which you’ll keep coming back. With vocals reminiscent of Laura Veirs and echoing guitars that will transport you to the lonesome Great Plains, Awards is certainly a track of a certain time and place.

Porlolo were formed in Denver way back in 2002 so it’s a shame we’re only hearing them now. The EP is out now and you can have a listen to the single below.
