British folk musician Autumnmusic is a master of the deep and the ambient.

Autumnmusic, aka Rosi Croom, has been hyped by, among others, Tom Robinson of BBC Radio 6 and Clash Magazine. Her single Drifting is the latest from her Dreams&Fears EP. It’s a delicate affair with minimal arrangement that best show cases Rosi’s enchanting voice. In the repeating invitation “come drifting” in the chorus you really do feel yourself drifting away on a gentle tide.

Yet, there’s something deeper going on in the lyrics. “Stop mending your speeches, they were broken anyway” implies so much in such a few words. See for yourself and check out Drifting below.
