Desperate is the debut single from Swedish artist Riike Mo, with the track being about a state of mind that is positioned halfway between self confidence and total confusion.

It’s an interesting track, and the fact that it was entirely self produced and is Riike Mo’s debut single makes it even more impressive. The song starts out with a soft acoustic guitar in typical singer-songwriter style, before adding Mo’s soft vocals and an atmospheric backing track to proceedings, making this stand out from the crowd. Desperate is different to the norm – which is probably why we enjoyed it so much – so it’s definitely worth checking the track out below:
