Cry is the latest track to be released from singer-songwriter Leo Spauls, with the song displaying a key sense of melody hidden within his songwriting.

We’re particularly reminded of Morrissey’s music and there is certainly a Mancunian feel to things, however if you’re not a fan of The Smiths then don’t fear, as there is enough here for the average pop-rock/indie fan to enjoy anyway. The vocals could do with a little bit of work but otherwise it’s a catchy song, and we particularly enjoyed the piano tinkles and backing choir on the chorus.
