St. Jude the Obscure are a two piece art pop group from Liverpool, who were formerly known as Feral Love and Bird. Their name may reference the patron saint of lost causes, but their music provokes a feeling of the opposite, with a feeling of hope present within their latest release.

I’m The Wolves is a synth pop track that slowly builds up into a blindingly beautiful crescendo on the last chorus, bursting joyfully out like a butterfly coming out of its cocoon. It’s a wonderful track, and whilst it starts off slow at first, the tension soon builds and swells into a colourful and intricate piece of music.
