We’ve actually covered singer-songwriter Oli Fox before, and in fact reviewed the ‘proper’ version of this song back in May. However, upon hearing the acoustic version of the track we knew that we had to write something about it, as it truly is a beautiful song.

When we wrote about Fox before, we said that Cruel was a very beautiful track. Well, the acoustic version is even more heartbreaking, and definitely is our definitive version. The piano accentuates Fox’s voice so well, with his soulful vocals and lyrics telling a sad tale. Fox deserves more coverage, so please check the video out below:
