Here comes a night of some of the most beautifully bizarre sounds around!

NEON SALMON is a York band hellbent on mashing up genres and sounds. Their music knows no boundaries, as it whizzes through jazz, psych, rock, indie, shoegaze blues and post punk with a simple ease. There’s a whole lotta filling in this musical sandwich. Enough to melt your ears and do serious damage to your sanity.

Returning to The Fulford Arms, as a part of their most recent tour, DENSE are going to obliterate our stage once again with their energised take on noise rock. If you appreciate bands that go the extra mile performance-wise, then this band is 100% for you. The guys can hardly keep still whilst they ricochet around the stage like misguided bullets. For the first time in York, we welcome FEMUR. This band are ones to watch out for indeed. They tour relentlessly and are surely onto a sound that is going to work wonders for them. The sound itself is vast and manic, played with real urgency and spat out like red hot porridge. It’s not often we take a punt on a band without seeing them live first, but this band was too good to pass up.

Opening up this event, we have the sweet sharp sounds of REDFERN. This band is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with on the local York scene. Hard and heavy metallic riff rage, topped with a sugary vocal that provides a fascinating stark contrast to
