We have recently been conducting a bunch of interviews with the artists from the Stencil label. Our next chat was with The Fullbug, a Middle Eastern band who have been working hard to provide music to the masses!

How is 2018 treating you so far?
It‘s been ok, we’ve been working hard mostly.
Have you released any music so far this year? If so, what can you tell us about that?
This year we have released our debut EP Black Hole Syndrome. We decided to release an EP mainly because we wanted to share our songs as soon as possible, and going through a full LP production meant holding off for too long.
Are you working on any new music at the moment? What are you working on, and when will it be released?
We have a few more songs we‘ve been working on for the past year. When we finish the process of writing a song there‘s still a long way to go before we‘re comfortable recording it. We like rehearsing it and playing it over and over again. We have scheduled our next release for sometime in 2019.
Have you got any upcoming tours planned? If so, where are you playing and where are you looking forward to going most?
We’re working on it, it’s not easy for any band but especially for a Middle Eastern band. We have a few shows lined up for the begining of 2019 in our area.
Who/what has influenced you the most as musicians?
MTV had a lot to do with it i guess, back when they were not evil incarnate.
The moment I realised how music makes me feel and how it drives my thoughts and actions was the moment that I realised that I want to be able to influence other people like that. The love of music and making music was the only thing that kept us motivated at times.
What have you been listening to recently that you can recommend to our readers?
Check out Violog – they’re a post-rock / electronic band from Tel Aviv.
Why do you think people should pick up one of your records or come and see you live, and what can people expect from one of your shows?
If you truly love rock music than will love us – a band that always aims to write their best songs and perform them in the most energetic and engaing ways.
Any last words for the fans?
We’ll be releasing a couple of music videos soon, so stay tuned!
