There are just a few tickets remaining for Pocklington Arts Centre’s ‘Punchline Christmas Comedy Gala’, which will see comedians Tom Houghton, Tom Binns and Lee Ridley aka Lost Voice Guy take to the stage for an amazing night of entertainment.
PAC’s comedy gala has sold-out for the past 15 years running and with just a few tickets remaining for this year’s event it is sure to sell-out once again.
Tom Houghton has just acquired the title ‘The Honourable’. Not by his own merit (he has been sacked from Wetherspoons twice) but by the traditional aristocratic way – by default.
His dad, who is the ex-Chief of Defence Staff and current Constable of the Tower of London, was inducted into the House of Lords, which makes Tom “honourable”, apparently.
The 2017 and 2018 sell-out, critically acclaimed star of the BBC, Comedy Central and Channel 4 comes to PAC on Friday 14 December with hilarious tales of growing up and discovering that true honour often lies where you would least expect it.
PAC favourite Tom Binns, aka Hospital DJ Ivan Brackenbury, is an award-winning and critically acclaimed character comedian who will be making a welcome return to PAC
And you may recognise Lee Ridley, aka Lost Voice Guy, as the winner of Britain’s Got Talent earlier this year. He may not be able to talk, but he definitely has something to say.
PAC director Janet Farmer said: “With the amazing line-up that we have once again for this year’s Comedy Gala I’m not surprised that we only have a few tickets remaining.
“We’ve personally seen all of this year’s acts perform live previously, so we know it’s going to be a fantastic night of live comedy.”
PAC’s bar will be open for the event until late.
Tickets are £16 each available from the Box Office on 01759 301547 or at www.pocklingtonartscentre.co.uk
