British R’n’B artist XamVolo has created something truly soulful with new video Sins of a Solider.

With a stripped-back arrangement, compelling bass refrain and heartfelt vocals Sins of a Soldier is highly effective and emotive track. The downbeat verses give way to big choruses with hints of brass and electronic drums. It has clearly been composed with a good ear and is, above all, a bit of an anthem.

XamVolo is receiving a lot of hype at the moment as part of the UK neo-soul movement and it’s easy to see why with this track. Check out Sins of a Soldier below.
