Wander are a post-punk outfit from Oakland, California hoping to breath new life into the genre. New track March is certainly a gallant effort that will create a few cracks in the known world of rock and roll.

March starts familiarly enough, with an echoing, repeating guitar riff and slow build up of instrumental layers. There’s a rousing feel here that you don’t often get so early on in a post-rock opus. It’s as if Wander are going straight for the jugular, a bold move for a plus-nine-minute odyssey. They not only sustain the energy, but add to it as the track progresses.
The accompanying video combines performance footage with a cryptic tale of a little girl and her wolf. Watch it in full screen mode for the full effect. You can check it out below.
