It’s been over a year since we discovered Suzi Island on this blog and now the Brighton trio are making a welcome return, after a big 2018 for them, with a new acoustic version of their track The Real Life.

We were first introduced to Suzi Island through their upbeat, percussion-heavy track Show Me The Way. The acoustic version of their track The Real Life is a different creature. It shows a more delicate side to the duo, harmonious vocals are accompanied by sparse piano, pushing emotion to the forefront.

When we last reviewed Suzi Island, they were a duo and the addition of new member Carlie Randall on keys is a welcome one. With the national spotlight already on these guys they can only go from strength to strength. Check out The Real Life below.
