How is 2019 treating you so far?
Justin: This year has been wonderful so far. We just released our new single Siren and our first music video. We’re currently in the studio working on new material and we’ve got some exciting shows lined up for this summer.
Have you released any music so far this year? If so, what can you tell us about that?
Brandon: Our latest release is our new single Siren (released January 25th). We’re always trying to expanding on what the Days To Come “sound” is and, when we were working on Siren, everything clicked. We knew that the feel of Siren was what we were after and what we would continue to chase in future songs. Siren is punchy, melodic, musical, and memorable. We hope that our fans enjoy it!
Are you working on any new music at the moment? What are you working on, and when will it be released?
Justin: We are! Brandon, Jalen, and I are currently in the studio working on new material. We’re expecting to have our next single released around April.
Have you got any upcoming tours planned? If so, where are you playing and where are you looking forward to going most?
Jalen: We’re playing a mini tour In Florida in February with our friends in 7 Stone Riot and House Of Curses. We’ll also been in Louisiana and Mississippi in April with our friends in Ventruss. After that, we’ll embark on our biggest tour yet in July for Rockfest! It’s gonna be a doozie.
Who/what has influenced you the most as musicians?
Justin: Alter Bridge is one of my biggest musical influences. They’ve helped shape me as an artist so much.
What have you been listening to recently that you can recommend to our readers?
Jalen: I’d recommend The Hu for sure! They are a new Mongolian folk metal band and they deserve a listen!
Why do you think people should pick up one of your records or come and see you live, and what can people expect from one of your shows?
Justin: We believe that music is powerful and can be a positive force in someone’s life. We’re so thankful for the ability to create and perform music and we love connecting with people at shows and online.
Our shows are a lot of fun. We try to encourage as much participation as we can and we try to be as high energy as possible. We love performing and every show, large or small, is special.
Any last words for the fans?
Brandon: We’re really thankful for all of the support we continue to get. We love you guys and can’t wait to release new material.
