Green Chilli Roots Presents Kerry Fearon and Dan Webster

York promoters Green Chilli Roots have announced the latest in their series of Americana and country focused gigs in the city

Hailing from South Armagh, Kerry Fearon grew up in a household surrounded by country music. She took up singing in 2015 and in 2016 reached the final of the TG4 talent show Glór Tíre. She also won the prestigious Horizon Award for Most Successful British and Irish Newcomer.

Kerry is now one of Northern Ireland’s most popular emerging country singers. Her eponymous EP was released in 2016 and her debut album in autumn 2017. The first single from the album was ‘Storms Never Last’. Kerry’s debut album is the culmination of several years gigging and recording around her native Northern Ireland. Also appearing will be popular York singer and songwriter Dan Webster who has gained significant critical acclaim for his most recent CD ‘Devil Sky’

The show will take place on Monday 27 May 2019, 7:30pm at FortyFive Vinyl Cafe in York.
