Kid Jupiter are a north London rock band featuring alumni for York Uni that bring a stripped down vibe to indie scene.

New track Keeping Fit is a combo of hypnotic twangy guitar, Casio keys and choirboy vocals. At first, it floats into your ears as a light breeze but Keeping Fit is a slow-burner which explodes into life at two minutes, then, suddenly, drums!

Keeping Fit is the first track from Kid Jupiter’s upcoming EP. Lead singer Laurence Morgan and producer Tom Ford met at university in our very own York so it’s good to see a couple of the towns alumni out there making music that BBC Radio 6’s Tom Robinson has described as “brave and beautiful.” We’re with you on that Tom.
