Gang Gang is the first posthumous release from South London grime artist Cadet, following his tragic death in a car accident in February this year.

Gang Gang is, as the title suggests, a commentary on gang culture. Yet, Cadet flips the perspective in this track, creating an internal monologue of a police officer who targets black people. It’s a conscious-raising tactic that really gets the listener to sit up and take notice and Cadet’s delivery is full of heart and force.
It’s a tragedy that such a talent’s life and career was cut short but Gang Gang is a great example of Cadet’s work for anyone, like us, who is just discovering him. Check out the video below.
