Briston Maroney is yet another artist coming out of the bottomless well that is Nashville’s alternative music scene. The video for his new track Chattanooga provides a symbolism-heavy narrative for his emotive indie rock.

Chattanooga follows a simple but compelling formula. From the outset, a straightforward guitar riff accompanies Briston’s passionate vocals. A marching snare joins in during the first chorus and things really get going from then on in. The rock masterpiece is complete.

The video is an enigmatic journey through small town America, climaxing with footage of Briston skydiving in time with the tracks explosive conclusion. Without exaggeration, it’s breath-taking. Check out Chattanooga below.
