A bit of neo-classical for you here on a chilled holiday morning. Dutch pianist Emile von Schomberg has just released his new track Dawning.

Dawning starts in a slow and emotional way, threatening to be a little too saccharin for the first couple of minutes or so before Emile shifts gears dramatically, building the piece quickly and dramatically into chaotic spell.

Things settle down again for the end and it’s the contrast between the two halves of this piece that really stood out to me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have this morning. Check out Dawning below.
