It’s always a sign of good, challenging music, I think, is that you’re not sure what to make of it, or even if you like it, on first listen. Yet, it becomes something you can’t get out of your head and you can’t stop listening. Lovekraft is this.

The four-piece indie electro band from London have just released their latest single Out Of My Mind, something they describe as a “fantastical post pop adventure.” There is definitely a feel of motion in the track, the driving, monotonous keys and bass feel almost like the clacking of a train on rails. Emotional, desperate vocals deliver poetic lyrics before outer space synths join the party.
